GENERAL PRICE LIST If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment please feel free to contact us. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. (However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.) If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide in describing the funeral goods and services you selected. We do not warrant or claim that the casket you are purchasing is air and or watertight. Please refer to the manufacturer's warranty for the merchandise you purchased. |

Professional Services
Basic Services Of Funeral Director And Staff 1,395.00
Our charge includes consultation with the family or responsible party, staff and
facilities to respond to initial requests for service; coordinating service plans with
cemetery, crematory and / or other parties involved in the final disposition of the
deceased; securing official documents and sheltering of the deceased. This fee for
our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral
arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct
cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Embalming 595.00
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming
may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a
funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to
choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct
cremation or immediate burial.

Cremation and Alternative Services Direct Cremations Range from 1,430.00 - 1,540.00
Our charges for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes: Removal of deceased to our mortuary, sanitary procedures permitting positive identification, basic services of staff, necessary authorization and permits, transportation to crematory, and cremation fee. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are: Cardboard Cremation Container or any Casket).
Direct Cremation with container provided by the purchaser 1,430.00 Direct Cremation with alternative container 1,540.00 Direct Cremation with any casket, is the fee plus the container selected 1,430.00
Immediate Burials Range from 1,695.00 - 3,090.00 Our charges for an immediate burial (without ceremony) includes: Removal of deceased to the mortuary, sanitary procedures, basic services of staff, necessary authorizations and permits, and transportation to local cemetery.

Transfer Arrangements Forwarding of remains to another funeral home This charge includes: Local removal to our funeral home, basic services of the funeral director and staff, necessary authorizations and permits, and embalming (excluding airline or other shipping charges). This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding the body. The purchase of a casket and / or shipping container is additional. Receiving of remains from another funeral home This charge includes: Local transfer to funeral home, basic services of the funeral director and staff, care and custody of the deceased, and hearse to local cemetery or crematory. Other services such as facilities and staff for visitation or ceremony and other transportation may be selected from the General Price List as additional charges. |
Cash Advances The above list does not include prices for certain items you may ask us to buy for you, such as flowers, minister's honorarium, newspaper notices, and additional transportation. These items will appear on your Statement of Funeral Goods and Services Selected. We do not charge you for obtaining cash advances. |
Terms of Payment Payment for services rendered can be made by any of the following options: cash, check, verified insurance assignment, Mastercard, Discover and Visa. We do not invoice estate claims. |
Life Insurance Filing We will honor insurance policy assignments to be completed at the same time of arrangement conference. Swartz Family Community Mortuary And Memorial Center does not charge for this service. |
