Alexander Sam Fox, 79, of Whiteland, IN passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at his residence. He was born September 7, 1946 in Paris, France to Ignac and Rifka (Fuchs) Fox, who were Holocaust survivors from World War II.
He married Clementine N. Malabanan on January 26, 1968 in New York City, NY, she passed on May 5, 2019. Alexander was a graduate of the Pace University in New York and earned a Master Degree in Business Finance. He went on to work on teams that helped finance successful businesses, 3 of which were FedEx, Thompson's Water Seal, and Coleco Vision. He then went on to establish a highly successful business and was the Owner/CEO of Fox Financial Services, that served Nationwide. When he was able, he was a member of the Franklin Active Adult Center.
He was the sweetest person and would lend an ear when needed and a helping hand if he could. He would always reach out to us and tell us the Bible Verse of the Day each day when he got a notification on his phone.
Survivors include his two sons, Sidney Fox and Sidney's girlfriend, Autumn Greaves of Whiteland, IN and Michael Fox of Indianapolis, IN, his grandson, Jaden A Fox, of Bloomington, IN, his sister Rose Tyberg of New Jersey, his two nephews Martin Tyberg and Mark Tyberg of New Jersey and his niece Sarah Levine of New Jersey.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Chaplain Jim Hudson will conduct a service on Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/alexanderfox. Visitation will be Monday, June 1st from 12PM Noon until service time at the mortuary. Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
