Amy Carol Sipes, 64, of Nashville, IN passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Bell Trace Health and Living in Bloomington, IN.

She was born January 26, 1959 in Beech Grove, IN to Milton H. Sipes and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Sipes.

For three years Amy participated in the "Night to Shine", enjoyed bright colors, coloring, and drawing.  She attended Columbus Community Church where she volunteered in Vacation Bible School.

Amy enjoyed visiting the Zoo, watching Big Valley and Petticoat Junction T.V. shows, shopping, and getting her hair done by Kris Stinson.  She was a loving person and loved giving hugs.

Survivors include her sister Molly Lu Hurm (Felix Edward) of Nashville, IN, half-brother Barney Sipes of Greenwood, IN, nieces and nephews Lynn Sanders, Shannon Funkhouser, Carrie Mayo, Eddie Hurm and Tabitha Ayers, great-nieces and nephews Cortnie Jamison, Tori Norman, Justin Ayers, Hunter Hurm, Dakota Hurm, Hailey Mayo, Shelby Mayo, Cody Ghuman, Clay Funkhouser, Grace Sanders and Emily Sanders, great-great-nieces and nephews Tatum James, Addie Jamison and Easton Murphy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Nancy Marie Moreland.

Reverend Matthew Johnson will conduct a memorial service on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call from 12 Noon until service time at the mortuary on Thursday January 4, 2023.

Inurnment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
