Angela Josephine Snyder, 45, of Edinburgh, IN and a lifetime resident of the Mt. Auburn Community of Shelby County, IN passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 17, 1978 in Columbus, IN to Gayle L. and Peggy L. (Hamner) Snyder.

Angela was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She enjoyed artwork, crafts, baking, shopping, helping others, giving hugs and being with family members for birthdays and holiday celebrations. She especially enjoyed going to McDonald's and Steak and Shake.

Angela overcame many challenges in her life, but still remained optimistic, loving and happy.  She was influential to all who knew her.  She will never be forgotten.

Survivors include her father Gayle L. Snyder of Edinburgh, Mt. Auburn, IN, her siblings Anita Snyder of Edinburgh, IN, Carl Snyder (Kari) of Ft. Worth, TX, Arinda Makaafi (Sio) of Tooele, UT, Patrick Snyder (Jennifer) of Indianapolis, IN and Todd Snyder (Juliene) of Ogden, UT, eleven nephews and six nieces.

She was preceded in death by her mother Peggy L. (Hamner) Snyder on July 21, 2020, her grandparents, a niece Lisita Makaafi and a nephew Justice Snyder.

Services will be private with a private family burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Shelby County, IN.

Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
