Anthony D. "Tony" Carpenter, 54, of Bargersville, IN passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

He was born August 21, 1970 in Linton, IN to Paul Robert Carpenter and Linda Jane (Kent) Carpenter.

Tony was a 1989 graduate of Center Grove High School.

He owned and operated Tony's Repair in Bargersville, IN as a small engine mechanic.

Tony enjoyed fishing, hiking, boating, canoeing, hunting, camping, being outdoors and especially loved animals.

Survivors include his mother Linda Jane (Kent) Carpenter of Bargersville, IN, his fiancée' Julie McCluskey of Bargersville, IN, three uncles Bill Kent (Mary) of Brazil, IN, Ned Kent (Glenda) of Marco, IN and David Kent (Karlena) of Port St. Lucie, FL, and his fur baby sugar.

He was preceded in death by his father Paul Robert Carpenter on June 16, 2001, his brother Timothy Alan Carpenter on January 15, 2020 and a uncle Danny Kent.

Pastor Rick Owensby will conduct a service on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/anthonycarpenter.  Friends may call Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 4PM until 7PM at the mortuary and Friday January 3, 2025 from 10AM until service time.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
