Astrid (Stoeckel) Reisinger, aged 78 years of Greenwood, IN passed away peacefully at home in Franklin, IN on October 6, 2023.  She was born in Pommen, Germany on November 28, 1944 to Friz and Asta (Hackbarth) Stoeckel.  She married her husband of 55 years, Dave Reisinger on December 4, 1967.

After raising two children with her husband, Astrid decided to go college and earned a BS in Psychology and a Master's German and Education from IUPUI. After graduating from college, she taught German at Arlington High School for multiple years.

Astrid had an enthusiasm for antiques, and built a large collection over many years, mostly from local thrift stores. Once she retired from teaching, she was a weekly regular at the Old Timer's Flea Market in Gnaw Bone, IN where she found a new hobby as a dealer, and enjoyed finding new homes for her collection.

Astrid is survived by her husband, David L. Reisinger, of Franklin, IN, daughter, Alice (Jeff) Voorhees, of Greenwood, IN and son Ralf Reisinger (his partner, Jim Bandy) of Indianapolis, IN.
