Benny L. Brutus, 67, of Franklin, IN passed away Friday, May 27, 2022.  He was born November 19, 1954 in Pine Village, IN to Leroy and Wilda (Helmerick) Brutus.

He was a graduate of Pine Village High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University.

He had been the food service distribution center coordinator for the Indianapolis Public School System for twenty one years retiring in 2021.

He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and tomato gardening.

Survivors include his two daughters Haley E. Brutus of Indianapolis, IN and Evin C. Brutus of Franklin, IN, a brother Richard Brutus (Nancy) of Franklin, IN and a sister Bonnie Kramer (Dan) of Mentone, IN and family Dionne and Daeyon Askew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James B. Brutus.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 1PM at 7501 N. Independence Pine Village Rd, Pine Village, IN 47975.
