Betty "Bettie" Jean (Funkhouser) Gray, 99, of Greenwood, IN passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Greenwood Health and Living Community.  She was a former resident of Country Charm in Greenwood, IN.

She was born March 4, 1926 in Danville, IN to Charles O. Funkhouser and Carrie Mariah (May) Funkhouser.

Betty enjoyed playing bingo three times a week and embroidery.

Survivors include her children Judy A. (Funkhouser) Evans of Greenwood, IN, Marie (Farrar) Adair of Kokomo, IN, Ruby M. Farrar of Orlando, Florida, Robert L. Garrett (Tammy) of Bedford, IN, Patty Gray of Frankton, IN, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Dollie L. Farrar, and Tina M. (Gray) Patterson.

Pastor Kerry Huffman will conduct a service on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/bettygray.  Friends may call Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 12:30PM until service time at the mortuary.

Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
