Betty Lou Wrigley

Betty L. (McKee) Wrigley, 95, of Franklin, IN passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community in Franklin, IN.

She was born on August 27, 1930 in Portland, IN to Reverend Earl Stanley McKee and Ella Mae (Hancock) McKee. She married Reverend Roger G. Wrigley on September 2, 1951 in Ft. Wayne, IN; he preceded her in death on May 7, 2012.

Betty was a graduate of Peru High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Manchester College in 1951 and a Master of Arts in education from Ball State University in 1969.

She taught kindergarten for several years as well as private piano lessons for nearly 50 years.

Survivors include her son Reverend Kevin Wrigley (Cathy) of Bloomfield, IN, her daughter Kimberly Charles of Franklin, IN, 8 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.

Her parents, her husband, her daughter Karen Ashton and sister June Case, preceded her in death.

Services are private.
