Beverly A. (Baurley) Findley

Beverly A. (Baurley) Findley, 91, of Seymour, IN passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2026 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, IN.

She was born August 8, 1934 in Cabery, Illinois to Thomas Victor Baurley and Viola Mae (Oakes) Baurley. Beverly married Joe Findley on December 13, 1952 in Franklin, IN; he preceded her in death on January 14, 1986.

Beverly attended Shields High School in Seymour, IN.

She was a loving homemaker and also the site director at Crothersville Senior Center in Jackson County, IN.

Beverly was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, IN.

She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, dining out, taking joy rides and playing cards.

Survivors include her daughters Peggy Fulmer (Carl) of Greenwood, IN and Pam Mattingly (Tim) of Greenwood, IN, four grandchildren Andy Fulmer (Crystal), Ryan Fulmer (Crystal), Daryl Mattingly (Ashley) and Megan Zimmerman (Matt), 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, twin sisters Thelma Allman of Seymour, IN and Velma Willcutt (Tom) of Seymour, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Mike Findley, her sister Vyetta Brock and companion Morris Royalty.

Ryan Fulmer will conduct a service on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/beverlyfindley.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.

Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
