Bobby "Bob" Gerald Tefteller, 89, of Franklin, IN and formerly of Coatesville, IN, went to his heavenly home on September 5, 2022, at the Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park in Franklin, IN.  He was born on October 5, 1932 in McCroy, Arkansas to his parents Wylie and Bertha (Pegg) Tefteller.

He leaves behind his wife of 69 years, Mary Ann (Kinnaird) Tefteller of Franklin, IN, sons Ronald Tefteller (Barbara) of Tierra Verde, FL, Randy Tefteller (Diane) of Ten Mile, TN, a daughter Ronda Elliott (Mark) of Danville, IN, granddaughter Brittany Tefteller of St. Petersburg, FL, great-grandchildren Sebastian and Sophie.

He was preceded in death by a grandson Troy Tefteller, and his parents.

He proudly served his Country in the United States Army as a Corporal and was in the Korean War 1952-1956, receiving the National Defense Service Medal/Korean Service Ribbon/United Nations Service Medal/Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation.  He retired from General Motors in 1993 after 28 plus years, gaining many everlasting friends.  He was a member of the Evergreen Lodge No. 713 since 1960.  He loved his homes at Lake Cumberland and Heritage Lake and continued his passion of fishing and playing games.  We recently believe but can't confirm that his bingo games may have been rigged in his favor by his very special friend and bingo caller Brenda, due to the number of wins.  We are thankful for the wonderful staff and many residents that we call family at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, IN, where he called his home since 2016 and until his departure.

Bob was known as a 'sharp dresser' with his pants and shirts always being iron- pressed to perfection.  His last days have left his loved ones with memories of knowing the glorious place he went to be with our heavenly Father.  He will be greatly missed by family and many friends that he has touched with his love and kindness.  Per his wishes, there will be no viewing, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to:  Indiana Masonic Home, 690 S State Street, Franklin, IN  46131, c/o Compass Park Assisted Living Activity Department.
