Brent Steven Terry, 64, of Avon, IN passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

He was born August 7, 1961 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Brent was a graduate of Southport High School.

He had been a material handler for FEDEX / STRYKER MEDICAL for several years, was very fond of his co-workers, and knew each one of them by their name.

Brent enjoyed antiquing, shopping, attending festivals, reading and going to the library.

Survivors include his brother Brock Sterling Terry (fiancé Mary Anne Schneider) of Bloomington, IN, nephews Brandon Nathaniel Terry (fiancé Sage Sherfick), Adam Daniel Terry, his niece Jessica Nicole Terry all of Bloomington, IN.

His mother Mary Jane Stubbeman, his father Robert Dale Terry, and his brother Bryce Stewart Terry preceded him in death.

Pastor Jim Haugen will conduct a celebration of life memorial service on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 3:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 South (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/brentterry.  Friends may call Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 2PM until service time at the mortuary.

Inurnment will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
