Obituary

Brian Keith Lovins, 58, of Whiteland, IN passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023.

He was born November 13, 1964 in Franklin, IN to Burchel Lee Lovins and Bonnie Sue (Bray) Lovins.  He married Jeannine M. (Oyler) Lovins on July 16, 2023 in Greenwood, IN, she survives.

Brian was a 1984 graduate of Whiteland Community High School.

He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in New Whiteland, IN.  Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing darts, played and coached several softball leagues and teams, and spending time with family and friends.

Brian had been a professional meat cutter for Meijer in Greenwood, IN for twenty-eight years.

Survivors include his wife Jeannine M. (Oyler) Lovins of Whiteland, IN, his mother Bonnie Sue (Bray) Lovins of New Whiteland, IN, a brother Jeffery Lee Lovins (Jill) of Whiteland, IN, sisters Kimberly A. Houston (Terry) of Whiteland, IN and Kathy S. Lovins of New Whiteland, IN, nieces Jessica Lovins and Maizey Lovins, nephews Jeremy Houston, Jarred Houston, Trent Houston and Joshua Lovins.

He was preceded in death by his father Burchel Lee Lovins on April 14, 1990.

Pastor Zach Scellato will conduct a service on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call Tuesday August 8, 2023 from 4PM until 8PM at the mortuary.  Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
