Carla L. (Fritz) Wimmenauer, 92, of Indianapolis, IN died March 5, 2024 at her home.

She was born January 30, 1932 in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN, the daughter of Carl W. and Lucille M. (Baker) Fritz.

Carla graduated from Southport High School, class of 1949.

She had been a systems analyst for the State of Indiana.

She married Claude Wimmenauer Jr. in 1967.

Survivors include her brother James C. Fritz (Janice) of Greenwood, IN, daughter-in-law Lois Kimery, grandson Jason Kimery (Melody), granddaughter Jenifer DeForest (David) and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Randall L. Kimery.

Dr. Joe Bottorff will conduct a graveside service on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 1PM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 734 North Morgantown Road, in Greenwood, IN.

Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
