Catherine Elizabeth (Keefe) Crafton, 61, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at her daughter's residence in Franklin, IN.

She was born June 30, 1964 in Indianapolis, IN.

She was a graduate of Thomas Carr High School in Indianapolis, IN.

Catherine had been employed by Aldi's in Shelbyville, IN and Brylane in Indianapolis, IN.

She was a published poet and artist.  Catherine was an avid music lover and cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband James Crafton of Indianapolis, IN, her children Sasha N. Eaton (Josh) of Franklin, IN, Andrew Jahn (India) of Carmel, IN and Marcus Jahn (Stephanie) of New Castle, IN, her mother Virginia C. (Galyean) Coomler of Greenfield, IN, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, siblings Regina Keefe of Franklin, IN, John Keefe (Carrie) of New Palestine, IN and Ginny Crook (Ryan) of Indianapolis, IN,

She was preceded in death by her father John F. Keefe.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 1PM at Flat Rock Christian Church, 2854 West Pope Street, Flat Rock, IN 47234.  A dinner will follow the service.
