Charles William "Bill" Druen, 85, of Franklin, IN passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN.
He was born April 25, 1939 at Camp Taylor, Kentucky to James Oliver Paul Druen and Mary (Barnes) Druen. He married Clara (Stone) Druen, she preceded him in death on September 19, 2011.
He was a 1957 graduate of Franklin Central High School, attended Franklin College and received his associate's degree from Indiana Central College.
Bill retired as a supervisor from Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, IN after thirty-three years of service.
Survivors include his daughter Michelle Druen Jones (Bruce) of Whiteland, IN and a son Craig Druen of Franklin, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Oliver Paul Druen and Mary (Barnes) Druen, wife Clara (Stone) Druen, a son Scott Druen, a brother David Druen, sister Sandra Ward, mother-in-law Margaret Gwin, father-in-law Russ Gwin and a sister-in-law Martha "Sis" Carter.
Pastor Dan McLaughlin will conduct a graveside service on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. It is requested that those attending meet and gather at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN at 9:15AM on Thursday, June 27, 2024 for a formal funeral procession to the cemetery.
