Chelsea Rene Bowers, 29, of Greenwood, IN died Friday, May 27, 2022.  She was born January 29, 1993 in Indianapolis, IN.

She was a graduate of Perry Meridian High School and Kaplan College in Indianapolis, IN.

She had been a medical assistant and a cashier for Speedway Gas Station at U.S. 31 and County Line Road in Greenwood, IN.

She enjoyed painting and being active in her children' lives.

Survivors include her son Zavien Green of Greenwood, IN and daughter Sevin "Charlee" Thigpen of Greenwood, IN, her mother Kimberly (Adams) Thompson of Greenwood, IN, sisters Casey N. (Willis) Kraus and her husband Ryan of Greenwood, IN and Sharon Bowers of Indianapolis, IN, a nephew Uriah Kraus and niece Kyra Kraus.

Pastor Cody Johnson of Emmanuel Church Stones Crossing Campus will conduct a service on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com .  Friends may call Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10AM until service time at the mortuary.  A private family graveside service will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
