Obituary

Chris Sullivan, 58, of Greenwood, IN passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.  He was born May 12, 1964 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, IN to Donald Sullivan and Connie Marie (Douglas) Sullivan.

He married Toya Nicole (Bobbitt) Sullivan on February 11, 2011 at Martindale Avenue Church of Christ in Indianapolis, IN, she survives.

Chris was a 1983 graduate of Indianapolis Baptist High School.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran.

He owned and operated Big Guy's BBQ in Greenwood, IN.

Chris was a member of Martindale Avenue Church of Christ in Indianapolis, IN where he served as a trustee and the media ministry.

He enjoyed playing the banjo, camping, spending time with his karate family, and was a big jokester.

Survivors include his wife Toya Nicole (Bobbitt) Sullivan of Greenwood, IN, his children Emma Valmore of Greenwood, IN, Brandon Hernandez of Greenwood, IN, Lucy Sullivan at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, his siblings Penney Fowler (John) of Indianapolis, IN, Jackie McLaughlin (Tim) of Greenwood, IN, Kelley Sullivan of Greenwood, IN and Aaron Sullivan (Lori) of Port Charlotte, FL, mother-in-law Dorothy Gibson of Indianapolis, IN, father-in-law Roger Bobbitt Sr. (Mary) of Indianapolis, IN, brother-in-law Roger Bobbitt Jr. of Nashville, TN, half-sister-in-law Nadine Green of Indianapolis, IN, grandmother-in-law Canary Bobbitt of Indianapolis, IN, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great-nephew.

His parents preceded him in death.

Pastor Ke'tre Dickens will conduct a service on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 5:30 PM at Martindale Avenue Church of Christ, 2402 Dr. Andrew J. Brown Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46205.  Friends may call Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 3PM until service time at the church.
