Christopher Allen Worthington, 52, of Bargersville, IN passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 after a three and half year battle with esophagitis.

He was born October 27, 1972 in Lynwood, CA to Edwin Merrill Worthington Jr. and Coleta S. (Montgomery) Worthington.

Chris was an avid angler and loved to play golf. He also loved following the Jets, NASCAR and Drag Racing. Chris loved music and attending concerts with his brothers and friends.

Survivors include his parents Edwin Merrill Worthington Jr. and Coleta S. (Montgomery) Worthington of Bargersville, IN, a brother Will Worthington (Rachel) of Joplin, MO and his twin brother Mark Worthington (Mary) of Jeffersonton, VA.

His brother Scott Worthington preceded him in death.

Pastor Tom McNerey will conduct a service on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 6PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/christopherworthington.  Friends may call Monday, February 24, 2025 from 4PM until service time at the mortuary.
