Claude Wimmenauer Jr., 89, of Indianapolis, IN passed away March 5, 2024 at his residence in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born August 27, 1934 in Washington, IN to Claude H. Wimmenauer and Naomi L. (Hummel) Wimmenauer.  He married Carla L. (Fritz) Wimmenauer in 1967.

Claude had been a civilian support analyst for the Naval Weapons Support Center in Indianapolis, IN.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include his sisters Ann Bowling of Washington, IN and Janet Fisher of Oden, IN, grandson Jason Kimery (Melody), granddaughter Jenifer DeForest (David) and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Larkin and brother Eddie Wimmenauer.

Dr. Joe Bottorff will conduct a graveside service on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 1PM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 734 North Morgantown Road in Greenwood, IN with military honors being conducted by the United States Army Honor Guard and Greenwood & New Whiteland VFW Honor Guard.
