Darlene (Duncan) Sego, 58, of Franklin, IN passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 4, 1964 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN to David A. and Mary Ann (Deem) Duncan. She married Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" Sego on August 8, 1987 in Greenwood, IN, he survives.
Darlene was a 1982 graduate of Center Grove High School.
She had been a teacher's aide and later a school bus driver for the Franklin Community School Corporation for fifteen years retiring in 2021.
Darlene spend many years serving in the teen ministry at her churches. She also loved spending time teaching her family her family recipes.
Survivors include her husband Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" Sego of Franklin, IN, two sons Donald S. "Donnie" Sego (Becca) of Franklin, IN and Jon E. Sego of Franklin, IN, three grandchildren Kaylin Sego, Gracelyn Sego and Anna Sego, her father David A. Duncan of Franklin, IN, siblings David Michael Duncan of Wolf Lake, IN, Debbie Sue Wallace (Bruce) of Indianapolis, IN, Don Ray Duncan (Monika) of Bargersville, IN, Damon Eugene Duncan (Teresa) of Shelbyville, IN and Denise Marie Hurst of Acton, IN, her mother-in-law Lillian K. (Gosnell) Sego Clarke of Whiteland, IN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Ann (Deem) Duncan on August 27, 2017, her granddaughter Audrey Sego, and brother-in-law Roger Hurst.
Pastor Marion Glover will conduct a service on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com . Friends may call Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 4PM until 8PM at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
