David Anthony Donnell, 52, of Greenwood, IN and formerly of Plano, TX, Crawfordsville, IN and Austin, TX passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 6, 1971 in Indianapolis, IN to Michael Sean Donnell and Julienna (Hester) Donnell.
David received his high school diploma from North Montgomery High School in Crawfordsville, IN. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 342 in Crawfordsville, IN. He enjoyed music, especially "Journey", championship wrestling and being with family and friends.
He participated in the Special Olympics in swimming, bowling, and track and field.
David enjoyed living in Texas. While in Plano, Texas, he played an extra in the television show "Dallas".
David had attended Charlene's Angels Day program in Greenwood where he was loved and nurtured.
Survivors include his parents Michael Sean Donnell and Julienna (Hester) Donnell of Greenwood, IN, brothers Jeff S. Donnell (Melissa) of Martinsville, IN and Steve K. Donnell (Donna) of Indianapolis, IN, nieces Amanda Carrier (Korey) of Indianapolis, IN, Ashley Koontz (Kevin) of Indianapolis, IN and Kristen Tschiniak (Zak) of Indianapolis, IN, nephews Taylor Donnell (Chelsea) of Highland Beach, FL and Joel Donnell (Ali) of Indianapolis, IN, great nieces and nephews Joanna Koontz, Dimitri Tschiniak, Kit Tschiniak, Penelope Donnell, Jack Donnell and Daschel Donnell.
Pastor Mike Crockett will conduct a celebration of life service on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 3PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 1PM until service time at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to Charlene's Angels, 5800 West Smith Valley Road, Greenwood, Indiana 46142.
