David Michael Haynes, 55, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born July 25, 1967 in Los Angeles, California.

David was employed at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in Indianapolis, IN for 16 years, and was a Coordination of Benefits Specialist.

He was an avid sports fan that enjoyed sports betting, going to the casinos, Indy Cars, traveling, driving his favorite Mustangs and spending time with his beloved boxers Harleigh and Piper.

David will be deeply missed by his fiancé Tabatha Patterson of Indianapolis, IN, son Corey Haynes of Nashville, TN, mother Lynda Sue (Crane) Christofferson of Indianapolis, IN, sister Jennifer (Mike) Park of Indianapolis, IN, and uncle Rick (Krista) Crane of San Juan Capistrano, CA.  He was loved dearly by his stepsons, Blake and Brandon Lee of Indianapolis, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father William Michael Haynes, grandparents Peggy (Dick) McFarland, and Paul (Margaret) Crane.

The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a celebration of life service on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 3PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call Monday, July 3, 2023 from 1PM until service time at the mortuary.
