Deborah Einhaus

Deborah Lou (Caldwell) Einhaus, 71, of Franklin, IN passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, IN surrounded by her family.

She was born December 21, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Boone Holland Caldwell and Luzetta (Hughes) Caldwell. Deborah marred Calvin Eugene Einhaus on June 30, 1973 in Covington, KY, he survives.

She had been a server in the restaurant profession for many years.

Deborah loved embroidery, sewing, and being with her family and a had a huge heart and loved fiercely, especially her kids and grandkids. She was known by many as the cake ball lady from working in crafts shows and farmers markets. Deborah also loved Christmas all year. Deborah opened her home to many in there time of need whether it be people or creatures.

Survivors include her husband Calvin Eugene Einhaus of Franklin, IN, her son Timothy J. “T.J.” Abney – Einhaus (Molly Abney-Einhaus of Franklin, IN,) her daughter Crystal Danyell Taylor (Scott) of Franklin, IN, three grandchildren Victoria Taylor, Mason Einhaus, and Trinity Einhaus, two brothers Dana Caldwell of Carmel, TN and Boone Caldwell (Cookie) of Osgood, IN, four nieces, ten nephews and many “adopted” grandchildren.

Pastor Josh Cadwell will conduct a service on Friday July 17, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/deboraheinhaus.

Friends may call Friday, July 17, 2026 from 3PM until service time at the mortuary.
