Deborah Pitcher-Martin, 74, of Indianapolis, IN formerly Florida and Texas, passed away June 22, 2024 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born January 15, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN to Norman and Marian Pitcher. She was married to John Fuller of Nashville, TN.
After spending much of her life in Indianapolis, Deb moved to Florida and later to Texas. She returned to Indianapolis to her home in 2022. She had many friends and relatives in the Indianapolis area. On many weekends, she spent time with her friends playing cards, listening to Jimmy Buffett, and nurturing life-long relationships.
When in Texas, she became involved with Texas NORML and made many friends within the organization. She loved to travel with her gal-pal friends (the fearsome four LOTW) and made many trips to numerous states with "the senior girls". She loved music and spent hours listening to Jimmy, Willie, and the classics of the 70's. All who knew her loved her for her kindness, faithfulness, and generosity. She loved her friends and her friends loved her. Deb adored animals and became a second mother to many four legged friends.
She leaves behind her beloved fur babies, Marley and Bibi, who will be much loved by their new moms.
Services are private with a private inurnment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either to the Indianapolis Animal Care (indyacs@indy.gov) or to Texas NORML (www.texasnorml.org). Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Franklin, IN is handling the Arrangments.
