Dennis Lee Burdine, 65, of Plainfield, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville, IN.  He was born July 7, 1956 in Martinsville, IN to Gene Burdine and Thelma "Ruth" Mattingly.

He married Patricia "Patty" Willoughby August 18, 1973.

He worked for Hendricks Power until 2014 as a utility locator.  He loved working outside in the yard, in the garden, and on cars.  He loved spending time with family and making memories.

Survivors include his children Josh Burdine married to Angie Burdine of Franklin, IN, with grandson Joshua Ledbetter.

Michelle Griffin of Avon, IN who has three children, Brandon Clark, Sara Cantrell and Kaylee Clark and

Lisa Lyvers of Plainfield, IN with her four children Ash Kirkman, Lila Kirkman, Emily Kirkman and Sebastian Lyvers.

He has four great-grandchildren Lyric Cantrell, Harlan Cantrell, Levi Cantrell and Vayda Crawford.

Also surviving are brothers Mike Burdine, Doug Burdine, Bob Burdine, James Burdine and sisters Brenda Deer and Melinda "Mendy" Ratliff and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, his parents, brothers Andy Burdine and Danny Burdine.

Inurnment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, Indiana at a later time in a private ceremony with family.
