Don K. Coffey, 84, of Greenwood, IN passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at Harrison Terrace in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born June 9, 1938 in Jabez, Russel County, Kentucky to Gilbert Lee Coffey and Beulah (Gossage) Coffey.  He married Donna K. (Simmons) Coffey on December 16, 1978 in Greenwood, IN, she survives.

Don was a 1956 graduate of Franklin High School.

He retired as a manufacturing manager from Davidson Industries in Southport, IN and Franklin, IN after 39 years of service in 1997.

Don was a member of the Community Church of Greenwood and attended Southland Community Church in Greenwood, IN.  He loved playing golf.

Survivors include his wife Donna K. (Simmons) Coffey of Greenwood, IN, his children Terri Scott of Greenwood, IN, Tom Coffey (Kelly) of Greenwood, IN, Amy Gordon (Jim) of Nashville, IN and Shelly Massey (Jason) of Mt. Juliet, TN, ten grandchildren Brad Scott, Michelle Richey (Pax), Chris Coffey (Meghan), Brooke Kleiser (Eric), Abby Magner (Colton), Shelby Gordon, Nick Coffey, Allie Massey, Lauren Massey and Katie Massey, five great-grandchildren with two on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Gordon Coffey, and his sisters Doris Wohn, Wanda Richards and Phyllis Brix.

Pastor Kerry Huffman will conduct a service on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com .  Friends may call Monday, March 20, 2023 from 4PM until 7PM at the mortuary.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
