Donna Marie Vlcan
February 22, 1951 – February 14, 2025

Donna Marie Vlcan, age 73, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away on February 14, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on February 22, 1951, Donna was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Donna was married to her devoted husband, Stephen Vlcan, and was a cherished mother to Steven (and his wife Manjali), Chris (and his wife Jill), and Anthony (and his wife Maggie). She was a proud grandmother to Carson, Shalini, Emerson, Riya, and Ember.

A passionate gardener and nature lover, Donna was a long-time member of Master Gardeners and found great joy in working outdoors, cultivating her garden, and sharing her love of plants with others.  She also worked at the Johnson County Public Library for 10 years, where she enjoyed helping others and building meaningful connections.

Donna's family and friends will remember her for her kind heart, dedication to her loved ones, and her beautiful gardens.

Donna's spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her love of nature will continue to bloom in the gardens she so cherished

Pastor Bill Turner will conduct a memorial service on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 10AM at Swartz Family Mortuary, 300 South Morton Street in Franklin, IN. and will be lived streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obitluary/donnavlcan.  Friends may call Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 4PM until 7PM and on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 9AM until time of service.
