Dorothy M. (DeLay) Huck, 92, of Greenwood, IN passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born July 27, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN to Thomas A. DeLay and LaVon M. (Myers) DeLay.  She married Henry A. Huck on November 27, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN, he preceded her in death on March 28, 2007.

Dorothy was a 1947 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis.

She had been a bank teller at Franklin Bank and Trust in Whiteland, IN.

She was a member of Christian Chapel Church in Morgantown, IN and loved crafts, making pottery and spending time with her family to whom she loved very much.

Survivors include her daughter Diana "Dee" Huck of Greenwood, IN, a daughter-in-law Kathy (Ponder) Huck of Greenwood, IN, a granddaughter Erin Keller (Jeff) of Indianapolis, IN, two great-granddaughters Lexi Keller and Danica Keller, a brother Thomas DeLay of Indianapolis, IN, a sister Emily Lester (John) of Beech Grove, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Thomas R. Huck on December 22, 2007, a sister Vivian Dowling and sister-in-law Joy DeLay.

Pastor Larry McAdams will conduct a service on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com .  Friends may call Monday, August 1, 2022 from 4PM until service time at the mortuary.

Inurnment will be at Acton Cemetery in Acton, Indiana.
