Elissa Vivian (Fry) Kaupisch, 71, of Greenwood, IN passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024.

She was born December 1, 1952 in Beech Grove, IN to William Clifford "Cliff" Fry and Edith Opal (Switzer) Fry.  She married Paul Max Kaupisch on June 2, 1984 in West Lafayette, IN, he survives.

Elissa attended Attica Elementary School and was a graduate of Attica High School.  She also was a graduate of Indiana State University where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees.

She had been a teacher, writer, editor, IPEC life coach, motivational and inspirational speaker, and spiritual caregiver.

Elissa was a member of Grace Assembly of God in Whiteland, IN.  She enjoyed arts, crafts and was a lifelong learner.

Survivors include her husband Paul Max Kaupisch of Greenwood, IN, her son Andy Barnhart (Melissa) of Bargersville, IN, her daughter Kari Teffeau (Ed) of Baltimore, MD, grandchildren Benjamin Barnhart, Isaac Barnhart and Max Teffeau, and ten brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Clifford "Cliff" Fry and Edith Opal (Switzer) Fry and her brother John Bruce Fry.

Pastor Casey Floyd will conduct a memorial service on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 4:00 pm at The Commons at Grace Assembly of God, 6822 North US Highway 31, Whiteland, IN where the family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until service time at the church.
