Eloise Grace Short, 82, a loving mother, aunt, sister and grandmother of Indianapolis, IN passed away Saturday October 15, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born June 24, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to Richard Leonard Short and Lula Jane (Webster) Short.  She was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis.

She owned and operated Short's Farm Market in Beanblossom, Brown, County, IN for many, many years and later was an office assistant at the Twin Air Kroger in Indianapolis, IN.

Eloise loved reading books, the color blue, angels, butterflies, farm markets, keeping score at basketball games, taking time to care for others when possible and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons Leonard Wall (Elaine) of Indianapolis, IN and Robert Wall, a sister Venita Combs of Indianapolis, IN, brother Daniel Short (Cheryl) of Indianapolis, IN, daughter-in-law Becky Densmore of Illinois, grandsons Joshua Stoll of Illinois, and Damon Wall (Rachel) of Muncie, IN, granddaughter Crysta Sutherland (Mitchel) of Muncie, great-grandchildren Parker and Preston Stoll, Lillian and Flint Wall, great-great nieces, Kyra and Kaiden that she helped raise and care for, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a loving daughter Eloise JoAnne "JoJo" Wall-Day and a niece Lora Jane George.

Pastor Seth Amerine will conduct a service on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2PM at Rocklane Christian Church, 4430 East Rocklane Road, Greenwood, IN where friends may call from 11AM until service time at the church.  A graveside service will follow at 4:30 PM at Weeping Willow Cemetery in Beanblossom, Brown County, IN.
