Elsie M. (Simmons) Bray, 90, of Franklin, IN passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Hickory Creek of Franklin, IN.

She was born March 7, 1935 in Mayfield, Tennessee to Irvin Franklin Simmons and Mary Lee (Osborn) Simmons.  She married Elbert Sylvester Bray, he preceded her in death on March 19, 2001.

She was a loving homemaker.

Survivors include her son-in-law Russell Snyder of Shelbyville, IN, a grandson Steven Snyder (Emily) of Petersburg, IN, great grandchildren Kyla Snyder, Serena Snyder, Tyllson Snyder, and Zadyen Smith, a son Gary Bray of Nashville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her children Sheila Snyder, Joyce Bray, Ronald Bray, and thirteen siblings.

Reverend Bill Turner will conduct a graveside service on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.

Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
