Emily Nichole Loman, 39, of Greenwood, IN passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born May 21, 1984 in Indianapolis, IN to Ronald Lewis Holman and Anita (VanRhoon) Holman. Emily married Matthew Scott Loman on May 9, 2009, in Shelbyville, IN, he survives.

She was a graduate of Greenwood Community High School class of 2002.  She was an active member at Emmanuel Church Greenwood Campus where she volunteered in the Childrens Ministry and participated in multiple small groups. Emily loved to sing and was always a bright light to those around her.  She was a caregiver to the family and always stepped up to care for her grandparents.  Emily started working at the age of 14 at Mrs. Curl Ice Cream shop where she would continue to work off and on until her passing.   She worked for over 10 years in the health care industry including Community South Hospital where she made friends and impacted the lives of those she cared for.  Matt and Emily adopted two beautiful girls, Andi and Kassie, and also spent time providing respite care for kids in the adoption process waiting to be placed.  Emily will be remembered for her "raw" sense of humor and being able to make light of tough situations.

Survivors include her husband Matthew Scott Loman of Greenwood, IN., her two daughters Andi Elizabeth and Kassie Bailey Loman, both at home, her parents Ronald L. Holman and Anita (VanRhoon) Holman of Sheridan, IN., sister Jen Kominsky (John) of Fishers, IN., brother Jon Holman (Kandace) of Greenwood, IN., paternal grandmother Avaleen (Beck) Holman of Greenwood, IN., nieces and nephews Aby, Joey, Brayden, Tanner, Emma, Nathan, Logan, and Landon.

Pastor Cody Johnson will conduct a service on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 12PM Noon at Emmanuel Church Banta Campus, 6602 South Hardin Street, in Indianapolis, IN 46217 and where friends may call from 10 AM on Saturday at the church until service time at 12 Noon.

Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South US 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
