Emma Lee Madison, 84, of Greenwood, IN passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025.

She was born February 2, 1941 in St. Louis, MO to Joe and Zelma (Miller) Madison.

Survivors include her caregivers and housemates.

Emma enjoyed playing bingo, and wining prizes, babies, dressing like a clown, karaoke, dancing, playing catch, listening to gospel music and telling jokes.

She was a sibling to sisters Juanita Madison, Dorothy Willis, Earline Hunt, Mary Ann Madison, and Geraldine Emerson, brothers Joe Madison Jr., Benjamin Madison and Michael S. Madison.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/emmamadison.  Friends may call from 1PM until service time at the mortuary.  Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
