Floyd Greeson, age 71, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025.
Born on September 14, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Floyd and Helen (Glover) Greeson, Floyd was a loving husband, father, and friend. He married the love of his life, Vivian (Scott) Greeson, on October 18, 1985, and together they shared nearly 40 wonderful years of marriage.
Floyd worked for many years in the service industry, including nine years at Onken BP and twelve years at Lewis BP both in Southport, IN, where he was known for his dependable work ethic and friendly demeanor.
In his free time, Floyd enjoyed watching television and spending time with his family — the moments that meant the most to him. He especially cherished the bonds he built with those closest to him.
Floyd is survived by his devoted wife, Vivian (Scott) Greeson of Franklin, IN; his daughters, Makayla Greeson of Franklin, IN, and Latricia Greeson of Wilsonville, IL, brother-in-law Ray Scott of Franklin, IN. He is also survived by dear friends Bill and Linda Lewis of Greenwood, IN, whom he thought of as family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Helen Greeson, and his brother, Jeff Greeson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Gracepoint Church 330 West Whiteland Road in New Whiteland, IN. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 11AM until service time at the church.
Floyd will be remembered for his quiet strength, his loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
