Frank Cardinali, 72, of Whiteland, IN passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 peacefully surrounded by his family at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born September 26th, 1949 in Fulton, New York to Gildo John Cardinali and Charlotte Florabelle (Lindsley) Cardinali.

Frank Cardinali was first and foremost a man fiercely devoted to his faith and family.  Frank married the love of his life, Laronda Louise Houchin on June 2nd, 1973 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Franklin, IN.  He was a loving and faithful husband of 48 years, completely devoted to his wife whom he affectionately called his "baby doll".  A man of profound kindness and generosity, he was beloved by his family, community, and closest friends.

In 1990 Frank and business partner Lester Combs founded Power Dyne Inc. which remains a pillar in the Whiteland business community even after his retirement in 2019.  Aside from attending his 7 grandchildren's various sporting events, Frank was an avid college football fan and spent many a Saturday cheering on his favorite team, Notre Dame.  Frank was a master on the grill, a wealth of weather knowledge and had a passion for golf.  He took frequent golf trips with his wife and friends, often driving the entire way to California and back.

Frank will be remembered for his positivity, strong will, and determination in the face of adversity.  He was also known for being able to recall any golf hole he had ever played.

Frank was preceded in death by his father and mother, Gildo and Charlotte (Lindsley) Cardinali and is survived by his wife, Laronda (Houchin) Cardinali of Whiteland, IN, daughters, Andrea (Jesse) Woodson of Camby, IN and Allison (Chad) Comerford of Indianapolis, IN, a son Tony (Stephany) Cardinali of Carmel, IN, seven grandchildren Noah Woodson, Zachary Woodson, Bailey Comerford, Ben Comerford, Chase Comerford, Charlotte Cardinali and Penelope Cardinali, three siblings  Mary (Kris) Kimball of Fulton, NY, Gary (Holly) Cardinali of Scottsdale, AZ, and Annette (Mark) Hanczyk of Fulton, NY sister-in-law, Kim (Mark) Hayes of Whiteland, IN brother-in-law, Dane (Kim) Houchin of Whiteland, IN, and many nieces and nephews.

The family of Frank Cardinali will be holding a visitation for family and friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 4 PM until 7:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN 46131.

Father Todd Goodson will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Noon at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S Meridian St, Greenwood, IN 46143.
