Franklin Thomas McClure, 72, of Trafalgar, IN passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023. He was born July 23, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN.
He was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis, IN.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Frank had been a United States Postal carrier in Greenwood, IN. He previously had worked for Calumet Paving and Skyline Roofing. He also owned McClure Construction.
He enjoyed working and construction, going to casinos and especially Belltera in Madison, IN.
Survivors include his wife Donna K. (Pardue) McClure of Trafalgar, IN, his children Mida King (Danny) of Maricopa, AZ, Sara Alvarez (Tony) of Gilbert, AZ, Rick Johnson (Sandy) of Nineveh, IN, grandchildren Vivian and Gabe Moreno, Daniel and Alexia King, Anthony Alvarez and Sadie Alvarez, Brenlie Johnson, Sierra Sullivan, Cassidy McClure, Alexis McClure, Destiny McClure, Gracie McClure, Daidra McClure and Skyla McCure, great-grandchildren Hayden, Damian, Belen and Max Moreno, Lily King, Joshua and Victoria King, Harper Alvarez, and Jamerson Green, great-great-grandchildren Zayne, Kal-Eli and Jasmine King, brothers Fred McClure, Danny McClure, Brian McClure, Ricky McClure and Dave McClure, sisters Pamela McClure, Mary Lou Collins and Pat Bullens.
He was preceded in death by his son Duwayne McClure, his father Eugene H. McClure, his mother Leona (Morris) Catellier, a sister Linda Covert and an infant brother.
Pastor Jon Lucas will conduct a service on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 12 Noon at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 10AM until service time at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road, in Madison, IN at 2:30PM on Wednesday August 16, 2023 with military honors by the United States Army.
