Gary Michael Ramey, 62, of Martinsville, IN passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025.

He was born February 21, 1963 in Franklin, IN to Joseph D. Ramey and JoAnn (Coffman) Ramey.  He married Beth Ann (Saladin) Ramey on October 23, 2020 in Martinsville, IN, she survives.

Gary was a 1981 graduate of Indian Creek High School.

He had been a forklift operator for Aisin in Franklin, IN for nine years.

Gary loved traveling, weekend trips and being outside.

Survivors include his wife his wife Beth Ann (Saladin) Ramey of Martinsville, IN, his son Michael Christopher Ramey of Franklin, IN, a stepson Johnathon Michael-Lee Abraham of Franklin, IN, brothers Joseph D. Ramey Jr. (Dana) of Paragon, IN and Donald W. Ramey of Edinburgh, IN, his fur baby Finny Booh, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lori A. (Ramey) Ash on June 15, 2008.

A service will be conducted on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/garyramey.  Friends may call Friday, May 23, 2025 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.

Burial will follow the service at Nineveh Cemetery.
