Gayle Patricia (Buttram) Gangl, 82 of Franklin, IN passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at her granddaughter's residence in Martinsville, IN.
She was born November 24, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee. Her parents were Maxwell Emmett Buttram and Dorothy Marie (McFadden) Buttram Robitaille.
Gayle was a graduate of Van Nuys High School in Van Nuys, California.
She had been a secretary for Whites Home Improvement in Franklin, IN for twelve years. Gayle had previously had been a bartender at Hillview Country Club and Lee's Inn both in Franklin, IN for many many years.
Gayle enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, dancing, live music and loved spending time with family and friends.
She was the daughter of Hollywood actor Maxwell Emmett "Pat" Buttram who performed in many TV and Movies including Green Acres and Back To The Future Part III.
Survivors include her daughter Jayne Gangl of Shelbyville, IN, grandchildren Torey S. Worley (J.C.) of Martinsville, IN, Dalton Deel of Shelbyville, IN and Matthew Clarkston (Andrea) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, great grandchildren Ariel Moscrip (Jerrod), Wyatt Worley (Sierra), Alexa Worley, Arabella Worley, Ashlyn Worley, Addison Worley, Delilah Deel, Shaelee Clarkston, Zarek Clarkston, Zayda Clarkston, great great grandchildren Aliyah Moscrip, Emalyn Moscrip, Zayden Worley, Camdyn Worley and Josiah Worley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Daniel Joseph "Dano" Gangl, a sister Kathrine "Kerry" Buttram-Galgano and a great grandchild Aero Worley.
The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a memorial service on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 6PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/gaylegangl. Friends may call Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 5PM until service time at the mortuary.
