Gina Sue (Waidlich) Roberts

Gina Sue (Waidlich) Roberts, 69 of Franklin, IN passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community.

She was born August 28, 1957 in Beech Grove, IN to Herbert and Betty Louise (Mitchell) Waidlich.

Gina was a 1975 graduate of Southport High School.

She had been an adjuster for the state of Indiana Fuel Tax department for ten years. Gina previously had been an EMT for Parlance and Rural Metro ambulance services.

Gina loved playing bingo and was a friend to everyone she ever met. She was an avid Southport Cardinal and Indianapolis Colts fan.

Survivors include her children Cheyann N. Hines (David M.) of Indianapolis, IN, William Waidlich (Kristy) of Indianapolis, IN and Richard Waidlich (Jennifer) of Seattle, WA, her grandchildren McKenzie Waidlich, Gianna Waidlich, Sarah Waidlich, Madison Waidlich, Grace Waidlich, Anastasia Hines, David Madison Hines Jr., and Miles Hines Jr., her life partner Terri Brown of Franklin, IN and brother Robert Waidlich (Kris) of Indianapolis, IN.

Her parents preceded her in death.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday October 17, 2026 at 4PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/ginaroberts.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 2PM until service time at the mortuary.
