Glenn Robert Redlich, 92 of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on March 11, 2022 with his wife Mary Rose Alhand Redlich at his bedside at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community in Franklin, IN.  They shared over 69 years together that began as a blind date to go to the Officer's Club at Camp Atterbury on her birthday in late October 1952.  Glenn would tell the story of how he was standing in the parlor being grilled by Mary Rose's father when he suddenly caught a glimpse of her coming down the stairs in a blue dress.  He knew immediately that this was the woman he would marry. He took her home to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving to meet his family and they were married on January 24, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Glenn was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on September 5, 1929, to his parents Herbert A. Redlich and Lillian "Lydia" Wagner Redlich. He graduated from Beloit High School and the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a B.A. degree in 1956.

He proudly served in the United States Army as 2 ^nd Lieutenant in the Field Artillery Battalion during the Korean War and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany.  He served our country with distinction and honor receiving Army of Occupation Medal (Germany) and National Defense Service Medal.

Upon discharge from the Army, Glenn briefly worked for AT&T in Wisconsin before beginning his long career as an independent insurance agent in the greater Madison area.  He helped many people save and protect their families with a variety of insurance policies.

With a love for the great outdoors, Glenn and Mary Rose hiked many of the trails throughout Wisconsin and surrounding areas.  He was an avid photographer capturing beautiful images of birds and landscapes. He obtained his pilot's license and often took Rosie on an Ariel tour of their favorite spots.  Some of their grandest adventures were riding on his motorcycle.

Glenn's was proceeded in death by his parents Herbert and Lillian as well as his sister Jean Redlich Zanton, and their dog "Happy".

His survived by his loving wife Mary Rose Alhand Redlich.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Liz Alhand (Ross), Mary Lynn Alhand Flanigan, Dennis Alhand, Diane Egenolf Swint (Kenny), Donna Egenolf Scheidler (Ed), Michael Egenolf, Joan Egenolf Sledge and Lonnie Smith (Terry).  In addition, there are many great nieces and nephews,
