Graydon Ross "Grady" Jackson, 68 of Bargersville, IN passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026.
He was born March 17, 1958 in Hartford City, IN. Grady married Annetta "Annie" (Gentry) Jackson on August 24, 2014 at the family residence in Bargersville, IN, she survives.
Grady was a graduate of Wes-Del High School in Gaston, IN.
He retired from FEDEX after 33 years of service as an over the road truck driver.
Grady was a member of Christian Chapel Church in Morgantown, IN.
He was a University of Tennessee fan and enjoyed spending time outside, working with his tractors, gardening, taking care of the yard and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife Annetta L. (Gentry) Jackson of Bargersville, IN, his son Chad Jackson (Erin) of Yorktown, IN, daughters Erin Ailstock (Kevin) of Upland, IN and Erika Knuckles of Muncie, IN, his step children Beth Hartsock (Justin) of Bargersville, IN, Ben Morris (Claire) of Bargersville, IN, Megan Clarkson (John) of Bargersville, IN, Christopher Morris of Greenwood, IN, grandchildren Blake Green (Miranda), Bailey Cooper (Sean), Jackson Ailstock (Emma), Braylin Ailstock, Raegan Jackson, Kaid Jackson, Baker Knuckles, Bryten Knuckles, step grandchildren Maggie Morris, Arlo Clarkson, Everett Clarkson, Owen Clarkson, great granddaughter Hazel Cooper, his mother Jane Ann (Peirce) Willard of Hagerstown, IN, his brother Doug Jackson (Donna) of Iowa and Nathan Jackson (Amy) of Muncie, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father Malcom Owen Jackson, his in-laws and grandparents.
Pastor Kevin Whitaker will conduct a celebration of life memorial service on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/graydonjackson.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.
