Jade Evelyn Henderson, beloved daughter of Dave and Natalie (Loftus) Henderson of Greenwood, IN, was born Thursday, Feb. 24, at 1:35 p.m. Despite intense resuscitation efforts by Riley Hospital physicians, baby Jade survived less than an hour after an emergency cesarean delivery.

Jade weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces, was 19.5 inches long and had a head full of dark brown hair. In addition to her parents, Jade is survived by grandparents Dale and Joann Loftus of New Palestine, IN, Julie Henderson of Greenwood, IN, David Henderson and Abby Pratt of Mooresville, IN.

Surviving great-grandparents are Mildred Sweppenheiser of Cincinnati, OH, Betty Jean Carter of Greenwood, IN and Shirley Cobb of Indianapolis, IN.

Also surviving are aunts and uncles Monica and Andrew Sanchez, Angie and Neal Ryan, Brad and Torrey Loftus, Lisa Loftus, Tiffany Franklin, Christopher Henderson, Lila Pratt and J.R. Starlin.

Jade was preceded in death by great-grandparents John and Shirley Despot, Loren Loftus, Gordon Sweppenheiser, William J. Carter, Paul Henderson and Ralph Cobb.

Doug Lindle will conduct a service on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com jade-henderson.
