Jacqueline (Smith) McGinley, 76, of Franklin, IN passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Otterbein Franklin SeniorLife Community.

She was born September 15, 1948 in Dover Foxcroft, Maine.

She had served as director of copier services at Franklin College for over twenty years retiring in 2017.

Jacqueline was a member of the Conservative Baptist Church of Dexter, Maine where she had been a Sunday school teacher.  She was also a member of the Eagles Club.  Jacqueline was an avid cook, baker, antique hunter, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters Stacy Robinson of Shelbyville, IN and Stephanie Myers (Dennis) of New Palestine, IN, her grandchildren Brandon Myers (Ace) of Muskegon, MI, Jackson Robinson (Morgan) of Edinburgh, IN and Grace Myers of New Palestine, IN, and her brother Douglas Smith of Lexington, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lauren Smith and Pheronia (Carter) MacDougall, brothers Carter Smith and Dick Smith, and her sister Roberta Smith.

The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a service on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/jacquelinemcginley.  Friends may call Monday September 8, 2025 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.

Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
