Janet Jean (Hoag) Renner, 79 of Nineveh, IN passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born September 20, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to Lester Charles Hoag and Charlette (Theus) Hoag.

Janet married J.P. Renner on March 27, 1993 in Franklin, IN, he survives.

She was a graduate of Jane Addams School of Practical Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio and Cuyahoga Community College.

Janet was a nurse at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community in the acute Alzheimer's unit.  She previously had been a case manager/precertification nurse for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Indianapolis, IN.  Janet also served as Nineveh Township Trustee for six years.

She was a member of New Beginnings Community Church in Franklin, IN.

Survivors include her husband J.P. Renner of Nineveh, IN, her children Angela Banks (Randy) of Cleveland, OH, Gregory Rubeo (Melissa) of Indianapolis, IN, Brian Rubeo (Jessica) of Nineveh, IN, Regina Garry of Whiteland, IN and Anthony Rubeo of Indianapolis, IN, twelve grandchildren including Matt, Danielle, Nicholas and Makenna, two great grandchildren, sisters Judie Carrino of Cleveland, OH and Joan Radzyminski of Cleveland, OH.

Her parents and a sister Joyce Allen preceded her in death.

Services are private.
