Janette Brown, 79, of Franklin, IN passed away on April 7, 2023 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis; IN.

Janette was born on November 19, 1943 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Grady and Rachel (Sloan) Passmore.

Janette, you are forever missed terribly.  You touched so many lives everywhere you went.  You were a strong and caring daughter, you were a great sister, wonderful mom, an awesome grandmother, and an amazing great-grandmother, and a beautiful soul to those who were around you and knew you.

She is survived by her daughter Terri J. Brown of Franklin, IN, her son Gary Brown of Indianapolis, IN, brothers Ted Passmore (Elaine) of Muncie, IN and Bill Passmore of Orlando, Florida, her sister Marsha L. Alford (Jeff) of Franklin, IN, granddaughter Cheyann Hines and her husband David of Whiteland, IN, great-granddaughter Anastasia L. Hines and great-grandsons David M. Hines Jr. and Miles E. Hines

She was preceded in death by her parents Grady Passmore and Rachel (Sloan) Passmore, her sister Phyllis F. Frith, a brother Garry "Mike" Passmore and her son Charles L. Brown Jr.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 2PM at Young's Creek Cemetery located on South Mauxferry Road and East County Road 300 South in Franklin, IN.
