Jerry L. Barker, 75, of Bargersville, IN was born on January 8, 1949 in Lynn, Indiana and passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Cynthia Barker, residing in Bargersville, IN and his two bonus children, Melinda Farmer (Shaun) also of Bargersville, IN and Danny Sciscoe of Bloomington, IN. He is also survived by his siblings Kathy Brown (Rick) of Greenfield, IN, Dana Rigg (Mike) of Dayton, OH and James Barker (Michaelle) of Greenfield, IN. Jerry's family extends to his five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Violet (Hall) Barker.
Jerry was known for his laughter, storytelling and friendship. He brought joy to those around him with his sense of humor and his knack for sharing engaging stories. His warm smile and generous spirit were hallmarks of his character, making him a beloved friend and family member.
Jerry served his country as a dental assistant in the United States Army, demonstrating his dedication to helping others even in his military experience.
