Jerry Ray Hensley, 55, of Greenwood, IN passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN.  Jerry was born in Anderson, Indiana on October 13, 1966 to Everett Ray Hensley and Diane Kay (Harney) Hensley.  He had lived in Greenwood, IN for the past 16 years.  Jerry graduated from Anderson High School in 1985.  He had been involved in marching band and football.  Jerry attended a University in Florida for 2 years.

Jerry had started working for Guide in Anderson, IN. Jerry had worked hard as the Committee-person until the plant shut down in 2007. He married the love of his life Kay Lynn Hensley on February 16, 2007.

Jerry enjoyed football, racing, history, fishing and spending time with his family.

Jerry is proceeded in death by his parents; Everett Ray Hensley and Diane Kay Hensley.

He is survived by his wife Kay Lynn (Kendall) Hensley of Greenwood, IN, his children Jeremy (Chrisje) Hensley, Brooke (Derek) Wilson, Bethany Christy, Eli (Michelle) Christy, Erica (Dustin) Feltner, and Brent Johnson, and his 5 grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 6PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com jerry-hensley.  Friends may call Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5PM until service time.
