Jessica Teresa (German) Colin, 35, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023.

She was born May 20, 1987 in Phoenix, Arizona.

She was a 2005 graduate of Franklin Community High School.

Jessica owned and operated her own cleaning business and was a newspaper delivery associate for the Indianapolis Star.

She enjoyed attending flea markets, refurbishing old furniture, going to movies and hanging out with friends.

Survivors include her mother Patricia Kay (Bruce) Phillips of Alton, IL, her father Jesus Roberto German of Mexico, a sister Shanna Rena Johnson (Glen) of Franklin, IN, a brother Rick Phillips of Columbus, IN, maternal grandmother Georgena (Clark) Bruce of Alton, IL, paternal grandfather Rene German of Sinaloa, Mexico, nieces Stacey DeIcaza and Jewell DeIcaza, nephew Mark DeIcaza, great-nieces Carissa Leichentritt and Cambrie Leichentritt, Gianna Moore and a great-nephew Angel DeIcaza.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Adrian Bruce and paternal grandmother Teresa Maria (Magdellena) German.

Pastor Patrick Thatcher will conduct a celebration of life memorial service on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com .
