Jessie L. Ruddick, 66, of Franklin, IN passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.  He was born March 5, 1956 in Franklin, IN to Ernest J. and Wilma J. (Nalley) Ruddick.  He married Ellen A. (Robinette) Ruddick on March 5, 1977 in Franklin, IN, she survives.

Jessie was a 1974 graduate of Franklin Community High School.

He had been a welder at Arvin Automotive in Franklin, IN for 30 years before retiring.  He had attended Grace Baptist Church and Journey Church in Franklin, IN.  Jessie enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes.

Survivors include his wife Ellen A. (Robinette) Ruddick of Franklin, two daughters Kristi Jean Ruddick Dixon (Amos) of Greenwood, IN and Jessica Ann Ruddick of Franklin, IN, five grandchildren Winston A. Agee of Franklin, IN, Toby A. Agee (Haylee Mathena) of Franklin, IN, Nathaniel A. Agee of Greenwood, IN, Desire` M. Barker of Franklin, IN and Jaiden L. Barker of Franklin, IN, his mother Wilma J. (Nalley) Ruddick of Franklin, IN, siblings Ernest J. Ruddick (Debbie) of Franklin, IN, Barbara J. Ruddick (Larry Robinette) of Franklin, IN, Johnny D. Ruddick (Tammy Ragsdale) of Whiteland, IN and Melissa S. Ruddick of Indianapolis, IN and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Ernest J. Ruddick and a grandchild Shannon S. Agee on March 22, 2000.

Pastor Jeff Sanders will conduct a service on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com  Friends may call Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 9AM until service time at the mortuary.  Burial will follow at Nineveh Cemetery.
